Nance, Jr., Nicky Neal, age 35, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died Thursday, March 31, 2011. Nick was a member of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ. He was previously employed by the Mt. Juliet Police Department and was presently Vice Principal at Stoner Creek Elementary School. Nick was very active in church, school and community activities. He was a 1993 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School. He was a graduate of Cumberland University and earned his masters degree from Trevecca University and his educational specialist degree from Tennessee Technological University. Nick was deeply loved and will be missed by his family, friends, church, school and all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, O.C. Nance of Mt. Pleasant, TN and Robert and Naomi Greenfield of Duck River, TN.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Mt. Juliet Church of Christ, 1940 N. Mt. Juliet Road, Mt. Juliet, TN with Bro. David Shannon officiating. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2011 at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Friends will serve as active pallbearers.

Green, Juanita Theresa Duplantis, age 79, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Mrs. Green was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma, LA. She was the daughter of the late, Joseph and Edith Luke Duplantis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Green; son, Chester J. Green and sister, Dula Dupre.

Dees, Sr., Donald Ellis, age 56, of Madison, TN, died Monday, April 18, 2011. Mr. Dees was a former employee of Trail West in Nashville, TN.

Greenwood, Ruth Susan McKenzie, of Mt. Juliet, TN, at the age of 103 went to sleep in Jesus to await the Resurrection. She was born in Hiram, MO, July 16, 1907, to the late George and Charlotta “Lottie” Sumpter McKenzie. She was united in marriage to Charley Greenwood in 1934, who preceded her in death in 1973. She lived most of her life in the Parma, MO area where she raised her family. She moved to Tennessee in 1967. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Susan Morgan; brother, Roy McKenzie and sisters, Evia McKenzie Calhoun, Lena McKenzie Harrison, Thelma McKenzie Allen and Jean McKenzie.

Wulfers, Daniel E., of Antioch, TN, died April 25, 2011. Dan was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He was a 1978 graduate of Overton High School. He was also a graduate of MTSU where he was a member of the Band of Blue and president of Phi Mu Alpha fraternity. Dan was a member of the Moonlighters. He was an employee of Opryland for 17 years, an employee of O'Charley's and a realtor with Crye-Leike Realtors. Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Casimro and Virginia Suarez.
