Green, Jr. Ralph Walden, age 90, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died Monday, August 1, 2011. Mr. Green was a native of Columbia, TN, a graduate of Lawrence County High School and a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Green had been a member of Cooks United Methodist Church for nearly 50 years and was a former President of the Cooks United Methodist Men's Club. He worked as an electrician for the L&N Railroad for over 10 years and retired as machine shop manager of the United Methodist Publishing House. Mr. Green was a 50+ year member of the Mt. Juliet Lodge #642 F&AM. He was the son of the late, Ralph Walden Green, Sr. and Birtie Iola Gallaher Green. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Fran Dispenziere.

Cronk, Sr., Jack Dillon, age 92, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died Thursday, August 4, 2011. Mr. Cronk was a native of Detroit, MI. He was a faithful and dedicated member of the Church of Christ, Mt. Juliet congregation. He served as an elder for over 30 years and enhanced the lives of others through missions such as playing music in nursing homes, teaching in the Jail Ministry and working with disaster relief projects, even as he battled cancer. His career consisted of sales, real estate brokering and housing development. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII. Mr. Cronk was the son of the late, James and Golda Raider Cronk. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Betty Parker and grandson, Bryan Cronk.

Sullivan, Vickie Lynn Resha, age 56, of Nashville, TN, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Mrs. Sullivan was born on March 1, 1955 to the late Edward F. and Mattie L. Resha. She was a 1973 graduate of St. Cecilia Academy and enjoyed a successful career as a retail buyer for the Mercantile Company for nearly 20 years. Vickie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her five grandchildren. Mrs. Sullivan courageously battled spinocereballar atrophy for nearly a decade and was an example of patience and fortitude to all those she encountered.

Jones, Cecil Edward, age 84, of Murfreesboro, TN, died Monday, August 22, 2011. Mr. Jones was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. He served with the Navy Seabees in the South Pacific during WWII and retired from TWA with 30 years of service. Mr. Jones was the son of the late, Samuel Dee and RoseAnna Hall Jones. McNeilly, Bernetta Jane Cable, age 71, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died peacefully Tuesday, August 23, 2011 surrounded by her family. Mrs. McNeilly was a native of Procter, NC, a graduate of Everett High School in Maryville, TN and a retiree of TSC in Nashville. Bernetta loved to travel, grow flowers, and all things of beauty. She was kind hearted, generous of spirit and easy to love. Quite by nature, she brought joy to each day. She was the daughter of the late, Herman and Lucille Guge Cable. Bernetta was a loyal and loving friend to those who were privileged to know her and will be sadly missed by all.
