Harris, Robert Roy “Bob”, age 75, of Mt. Juliet, TN, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 4, 2012. Mr. Harris was a member of Victory Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a Gideon, a member of the Promise Keepers and a member of the Mt. Juliet Masonic Lodge #642, F&AM. Mr. Harris was the son of the late, Roy Solomon and Emily Moore Kasey Harris. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of nearly fifty years, Jimmie Hayes Harris and son, Bobby Harris.

Drayton, Rev. Leoncia, age 78, of Hermitage, TN, died Monday, February 6, 2012. Rev. Drayton was a member of Hamilton United Methodist Church. She earned her Master's of Divinity degree and was ordained as a United Methodist minister in 1982. Prior to her ordination she served as a Children's Educational Director and Diagonal Minister in Michigan, St. Louis, Missouri and Illinois, spending all of her adult life in ministry to the United Methodist Church. Rev. Drayton was the daughter of the late, Clarence Boudreaux and Gaither Bethey Boudreaux Hebert. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Keith Drayton.

Mull, Richard Lynwood, age 75, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Mr. Mull retired from the U.S. Army with over 20 years of service and from civil service after 20 years with the FAA. During his military career he was the recipient of the Purple Heart, the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Army Commendation Medal w/”V” Device & 1st Oak Leaf Cluster, the Air Medal w/21st Oak Leaf Cluster, the Bronze Star Medal, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device, the Meritorious Unit Commendation, 4 Overseas Service Bars, the Vietnam Service Medal w/5 Campaign Stars, the National Defense Service Medal w/Oak Leaf Cluster, the Senior Parachutist Badge, the Army Aviator Badge and the Senior Army Aviator Badge. Mr. Mull was the son of the late, Otis and Mary Stacey Mull. He was also preceded in death by his brothers and sister, O.H., Jr., Graham, Emile and Elizabeth.

Moore, Brent Edward, age 28, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died Sunday, February 12, 2012. Brent was a member of Joy Church and was a 2002 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School. Smeykal, Robert S., age 80, went to be with Jesus on Friday, February 24, 2012. Bob was born in Orange, CA on October 8, 1931 to the late, Joseph William and Lela Elizabeth Bates Smeykal. He graduated from Long Beach State College in 1958 and was a veteran of the Korean War. Bob was previously an Elder at the Lord's Chapel & Christ Church of Nashville but most recently was a member of Life Assembly of Mt. Juliet, TN. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Betty Smeykal.

Stewart, Virginia Ellen Igleheart, age 89, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 in Summerville, SC. She was born February 28, 1922 in Panther, KY to the late, Columbus Edgar and Amanda Frances Igleheart. Virginia was a long-time resident of Mt. Juliet and Hermitage, TN prior to moving to Summerville, SC in 2011. She was a member of Tulip Grove Baptist Church and was previously a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet, where she taught Sunday School and was a G.A. leader. Virginia was a Cub Scout Den Mother, school Room-Mother and Mother Advisor of Rainbow Girls. For fifty years she was a member of Harvey Freeman Chapter #181, O.E.S., serving as a Grand Officer in 1971. She worked with her husband in their real estate business. Reading, gardening, traveling, fishing and golf were her interests, but, most of all, being “Mema” to granddaughters was her love. Virginia was also preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Harold Elton “Jack” Stewart and her siblings, Malvenia, Richard, Chester and Ernest Igleheart.

Adams, Hollis Donald, “Doc”, age 84, died Saturday, February 25, 2012.
Doc was a member of Victory Baptist Church and the Top of the Mark Sunday School Class. He was a 1945 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School and a veteran of the Army Air Corps. Doc and his brother, Vale Adams opened Adams Gulf Service Station on Lebanon Road in 1949. They had a lot of nationwide, repeat customers. He worked alongside his wife, Betty from 1954 until the service station closed in 1993. His sons went to work at the service station when they were 10 years old and worked there until they were 18. Doc always had a good work ethic. He was the son of the late, Roscoe Lewis and Lura Daisy Craddock Adams. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Vale and John Caswell Adams: sister, Veda Mae Loveless and two infant siblings.

Glasscock, Beverly Rose, age 77, of Mt. Juliet, TN and formerly of Memphis, TN, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born December 11, 1934 in Troy, New York. Beverly retired from Helena Chemical Company in Memphis in 2002 after twenty three years of employment. After relocating to Mt, Juliet, TN in 2002, she joined the Mt. Juliet Senior Center and also enjoyed activities at the Lebanon Senior Center. She treasured her friends at both Centers and those in the Music City Singles square dance group as well. She was also actively involved as a proud member of the Mt. Juliet Red Hatters. She loved life, had an incredible sense of humor and leaves a legacy of love, faith and laughter which will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Darvin “Don” Glasscock; mother, Rose Mary Bigman and sister, Jean Pero.
