Valerio, Cynthia Louise “Cyndi”, age 63, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died April 5, 2019. Cyndi was a member of Joy Church, attended Love’s Way in Lebanon and was a believer in the power of prayer. She was a hair stylist and owner of Before and After Salon in Mt. Juliet. Cyndi was the daughter of the late, Gaston and Mary-Lou Martinez Bachelier.

She is survived by:

Husband of 41 years – Jerry Valerio

Children – April Floyd, Kimberly Valerio and Jeremy Valerio

Siblings – Annette Simmons, Bernice Wallace, Evelyn Blake, Gaston Bachelier,

Wright, James Ronald “Ronnie”, age 83, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died April 8, 2019. Mr. Wright was a member of Corinth Church of Christ. He was retired from the U.S. Army and the U.S. Postal Service. Mr. Wright was a graduate of Mt. Juliet High School where he was a star football player. He was also an avid motorcycle rider. Mr. Wright was the son of the late, William Perry and Ruby Mae Weaver Wright. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Joan Hamblen Wright; children, Vickie Ann Binkley and James Ricky Wright and siblings, Pete Wright, Bobby Wright and Nancy Bond.
He is survived by:
Brother – Hatton Wright
Grandchildren – Russell Foy, Brittany Foy, Robbie Foy, Bradley Foy,
Sarah Wright and Jessica Wright

Dunn, Michael Christopher, age 24, of Lebanon, TN, died April 8, 2019. Michael was an amazing daddy, a musician, a hard worker and was always willing to help others. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Darrell Dunn and sister, Hannah Joy Dunn.

Morrow, Russell Todd “Rusty”, age 56, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died April 12, 2019. Rusty was a member of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ where he served as a Deacon for several years. He was a 1981 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School where he was a member of the FFA. Rusty was a former employee of K.O. Lester and Nissan. He enjoyed fixing things, camping and being around the water and family and friends. Rusty was the son of the late, Neal and Polly Lannom Morrow. He was also preceded in death by his infant children, Russell Todd Morrow, Jr. and Candice Nicole Morrow. 

He is survived by:

Wife of 36 years – Traci Cox Morrow

Son – Drew Phillip Morrow

Brothers – Mike Morrow and Eric (Terra) Morrow

Sisters – Kim (Greg) Haag and Michelle (David) Keith

 

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Mt. Juliet Church of Christ, 1940 N. Mt. Juliet Road, Mt. Juliet, TN with Bro. Wayne Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Lannom Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Win Keith, Tony Torres, Tony Eakes, Joe Mills, Mike Welch and Jay Brasel. Taylor, Ashley Jo, age 36, of Lebanon, TN, died April 12, 2019. Ashley was a member of The Church at Pleasant Grove. She was a 2001 graduate of Watertown High School where she was a cheerleader. Ashley was a phlebotomy supervisor for 15 years at AEL, formerly Woodbury Labs. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with family and friends. Ashley was preceded in death by her father, James Kenneth Rigsby and her grandmother, Ruth Crusenberry.

She is survived by:

Husband of 15 years – Tony Taylor

Mother – Regina Yount

Children – Caleb Taylor, Wyatt Taylor and Shelby Taylor

Sisters – Kristina (Chris) VanHook and Jessica (Mitch) Cunningham

She is also survived by the members of Ashley’s Army and an endless number of Sisters-in-Love

 

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at The Church at Pleasant Grove, 555 Pleasant Grove Road, Mt. Juliet, TN with John Driver officiating.

Nice, Rose Marie, age 78, of Panama City, FL/Mt. Juliet, TN, died April 14, 2019. Rose enjoyed the beach and spending time with family and friends. She was the daughter of the late, Noah and Ruth Elam Bennett. Rose was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Nice and her brother, Noah Bennett, Jr.

Hall, Frances Elizabeth George, age 84, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died Thursday, April 18, 2019. Mrs. Hall was a 1953 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School where she served as Valedictorian. She was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church for many years and became a charter member of Victory Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet in 2000. Mrs. Hall served as church clerk over 40 years at both places. She was a retiree of the Baptist Sunday School Board, now known as LifeWay. Mrs. Hall was the daughter of the late, Charlie and Gracie George. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Davis Hall.

She is survived by:

Daughter – Rachel (Ray) Hatcher

Son – George Hall

Sister – Charlene (Joe) Dodson

Grandchildren – Philip Hatcher, John (Sarah) Hatcher,

                      Taylor (Aaron) Tomlinson and Tucker Hall

Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2019 at Victory Baptist Church, 1777 Tate Lane, Mt. Juliet, TN with Rev. Chuck Groover and Rev. W. D. Thomason officiating.  Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Philip Hatcher, John Hatcher, Tucker Hall, Aaron Tomlinson, David Gragg, Brian Skelton, Don Crain and Bill Bishop.

 

The family wishes to thank Dr. Toby Smith and the staff at Summit Medical Center and the staff at Carrick Glen Senior Living and Kindred Hospice for their care.

Carter, Mary L., age 91, of Lebanon, TN, died April 11, 2019. Mary was born in Springfield, Missouri. First and foremost she was a Christian. Mary lived her life for her Lord, Jesus. She also lived for her grandchildren who brought her tremendous joy. Mary taught school at Gateway Christian in Roswell, New Mexico and managed the business office at Christ’s Church, also in Roswell. Following the death of her husband, Mary eventually moved to Lebanon, TN where she regularly attended The First Church of the Nazarene. She is now at the feet of the Lord undoubtedly asking him endless questions. Mary was the daughter of the late, Roy Bennett and Genevieve Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Carter; son, Michael Carter; daughter, Sandra Carter and sisters, Carol Speaks and JoAnn Barney.
She is survived by:
Sons – Raymond (Debbie) Carter and Carl (Dianna) Carter

Kliewer, Robert Allen “Bob”, age 88, of Old Hickory, TN, died April 20, 2019. Mr. Kliewer was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in Korea. Mr. Kliewer played trumpet, was an artist, a horticulturalist and had a sense of humor. He was the son of the late, Daniel David Kliewer and Mildred Martz Garbash.

Goodwin, Jeremy Brandon, age 35, of Mt. Juliet, TN died April 24, 2019.
Jeremy was a charter member and a faithful servant of Providence United Methodist Church. He was a 2001 graduate of White House High School and an employee of Dell Computers. Jeremy enjoyed woodworking and remodeling. He was a Red Sox fan, a golfer and a devoted father. Jeremy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Taft and Hazel Hauskin and his paternal grandmother, Susie Marie Hill.
He is survived by:
Wife of 10 years – Joy Goodwin
Sons – Jack Goodwin, age 7 and Jacob Goodwin, age 4
Parents – Billy and Carolyn Goodwin

Cloyd, Donna Claire Gleaves, age 80, of Hermitage, TN, died April 25, 2019. Mrs. Cloyd was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late, Kelly Leroy and Demmie Oprey Lane Gleaves. Mrs. Cloyd was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Bobby Lee Cloyd and her sister, Louise Gleaves Frey.

Springer, III, Philip Delona “Trey”, age 50, of Hermitage, TN, died April 27, 2019. Trey was an avid UT Vols and Titans fan. He was a talented carpenter and worked for many years throughout the Nashville area. He loved music and spending time with his friends and his family. Trey was preceded in death by his parents, Philip Delona Springer, II and Glynda Hardwick.
